Central Texas roofer leads in eco-friendly method

The Central Texas leader for one of the market leaders in durable and environmentally friendly roofing has doubled its business every year since the founder’s grandson took over the business in 2000, receiving its second national sales prize since 2006 at a conference in Orlando, Fla.
Parsons Roofing Co., headquartered between Temple and Waco under the ownership of Stuart Parsons Jr., is in its 11th year with Duro-Last Roofing Inc. of Michigan. “We’re the largest of their 2,500 contractors,” Parsons said, “four times the size of the second in line.”
